Career Outlook for BSN-Educated Nurses

As a working nurse, you understand the evolving nature and expectations of the profession. The American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN) notes that healthcare facilities increasingly prefer hiring BSN-educated nurses for leadership roles and specialized positions. Earning a B.S. Nursing degree strengthens your competitive edge and opens doors to career growth.

Along with steady employment growth, RNs in California earn a median annual salary of $120,560, the highest in the U.S. In fact, registered nurses can make up to $135,320, depending on their state of employment, education, and level of experience.
