Applying to Angeles College

At Angeles College, admissions isn’t one-size-fits-all. We believe in a personalized, hands-on approach that helps you launch your education and career with confidence.

To be considered for admission to Angeles College, you must:

  • Show proof of 12th-grade completion or equivalent (high school diploma, GED, or official transcript).
  • Verbally express reasonable goals and expectations for how the program supports your future success.
  • Pass an entrance exam (if applicable).
  • Submit official academic transcripts for transfer credit review.
  • Meet all program-specific admissions criteria (review the student handbook for details).
  • Provide a completed Medical Examination Form from a licensed physician confirming your ability to participate in the program without limitations.*

*Not all programs require you to complete a medical exam. Please confirm with the Admissions Office for more information.

For more information regarding the program-specific admissions requirements, please refer to the Angeles College 2025-2026 Catalog.

Your journey at Angeles College begins with submitting a contact form.

An admissions advisor will then contact you to set up an interview. During this meeting, you’ll discuss your academic and professional background, educational goals, and career plans, which help us determine if Angeles College is the right fit for you.

Next, if your program of interest requires it, your advisor will schedule an entrance exam. This helps showcase your ability to perform in the classroom at the required level. After you receive a passing score, the enrollment process will continue.

Since we do not offer distance education, you must also provide proof of address or residency. Acceptable documents include:

  • A valid copy of your state-issued identification or driver’s license, OR
  • A valid and current issue of a U.S. Passport bearing the picture and current address of the applicant, OR
  • A signed attestation certifying that you physically reside in the State of California, where you provide a current address at the time of enrollment.

Finally, you must submit a completed enrollment agreement and the non-refundable $100 registration fee.

You must also submit your official high school diploma/transcript or official degree/transcript reflecting all work taken at previous institutions.

Angeles College runs on a quarter-based system so that you can take advantage of various start dates throughout the academic year and jump-start your education. Below are the start dates for each quarter. We recommend that you begin the application process sooner rather than later.
