Our M.S. Nursing (Nursing Education) program at our Los Angeles campus is an accelerated 6-quarter program (18 months). This program caters to B.S. Nursing graduates who intend to advance their nursing education and experience through educational theories, curriculum design, principles and strategies of teaching, curriculum management, as well as advanced pharmacological concepts, advanced pathophysiology, and advanced health assessment concepts.

With our MSN – Nursing Education curriculum, you will be empowered to shape the future of nursing practice. Coursework will cover the principles of teaching, learning strategies, curriculum design, and assessments in nursing education in both clinical and academic settings.

1. Apply and meet with an advisor

  • Submit a completed Angeles College application.
  • Attend a required meeting with an admissions advisor to discuss your career goals. This is to ensure you are motivated and prepared for the demands of the program, which requires a strong commitment of up to 80 hours a week.

2. Fulfill academic criteria

  • Hold a B.S. in Nursing Degree from an accredited program
  • A valid and unencumbered license as a registered nurse in any U.S. state or territory in which the student is licensed, including the state in which the student completes all assignments for the program.

3. Complete financial aid and enrollment steps

  • Complete a financial aid interview and establish a plan for funding your education.
  • Sign the Enrollment Agreement with an admissions advisor.
  • Submit all necessary documentation.
